How Do Braces Straighten Teeth?
Braces work by gently moving the teeth into proper alignment over a period of time. Our orthodontist will place a bracket on each tooth and then thread a thin wire, called an arch wire, through the brackets. The arch wire applies a gentle amount of pressure to each tooth, slowly and carefully moving each tooth into proper position.
