Dr. Joe is a native to Westchester County, where he grew up in a big family as one of eight boys. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University, he made his way to Stony Brook University to study Dental Medicine. While at Stony Brook, Dr. Joe focused his efforts on Pediatric Dentistry, taking the Advance Selective in Pediatric Dentistry. For his distinguished work he was awarded the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Pre-Doctoral Student award for outstanding achievement in the field of Pediatric Dentistry.
After receiving his DDS, Dr. DeBiase went on to perform his specialty training at Cohen Children’s Medical Center where he was awarded Resident of the year in 2011, and served as Chief Resident in his final year. For Dr. Joe, Dentistry has opened up the door for him to travel the globe, serving on two separate medical missions to Chile and Ecuador to perform dental care for impoverished, underprivileged children.
A member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. DeBiase is looking forward to giving back to the community he grew up in.
